The grading scheme for the course will be changed to take
the snow days into account. There will still be three exams, but
I will drop the lowest exam score. Students who do not take Exam
3 will get a zero, which for most students would be their lowest
exam score, and their grade will be calculated using their
scores on Exams 1 and 2. Complete details can be found here.
Students in sections 11 and 12 who want to take Exam 3 may
do so on Friday, December 9 or Monday, December 12. They must
start the exam between 10AM and 4PM and will have 80
minutes. The exam will be in GAB 473 and a proctor will be
there between 10 and 5.
Assignment 13 (due Wednesday, December 7) may be turned in
any time before 4PM on Friday, December 9. Students may turn in
the homework either when they take Exam 3 or to my mailbox in
the math department office.
